Where is the Life Source? / ¿Dónde está la fuente de la Vida?

Have you ever seen the birth of a river?  Our family once saw the source of the Rio Cuervo in Cuenca, Spain.  It was just a trickle of water springing forth from a rock in the mountains.  It starts very small, like you and me.  In fact no one saw you inside your mother’s womb, and the source of a river is like that: hidden beneath the surface.

Then there is the Mississippi River.  The beginning is like most rivers, a number of springs feed a lake and a small stream breaks out.  The Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio and Missouri Rivers begin in the same way, but they all flow into what becomes the Mighty Mississippi.  These rivers are in different places and flow through different kinds of landscape, but with one essential constant: H2O, water, that springs forth.  They form a huge river that channels life through the heartland of the United States.

Life Channel Coaching looks for the life source, Jesus Christ, flowing through the landscape of your life experiences.  All of the springs and streams of your life converge to form the river that is the life that you are meant to live.  Powerful questions draw out what God has already planted in you and enable you to fully live that life to which God has called you.

¿Dónde está la fuente de la Vida?

¿Has visto el nacimiento de un río?  Nuestra familia vio la fuente del Rio Cuervo en Cuenca, España.  Era sólo un hilo de agua que surge de una roca en las montañas.  Empieza muy pequeña, como tú y yo.  En realidad nadie te vió dentro del vientre de tu madre, y la fuente de un río es como eso: escondido debajo de la superficie.

El río de Mississippi es distinto.  El principio es como la mayoría de los ríos, una serie de fuentes alimentan una laguna y un riachuelo sale.  Los Ríos Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio y Missouri comienzan de la misma manera, pero todos ellos son afluentes a lo que se convierte en el poderoso Mississippi.  Estos ríos se encuentran en diferentes lugares y fluyen por diferentes tipos de paisaje, pero con un constante esencial: agua que brota.  Forman un río enorme que lleva vida al corazón de los Estados Unidos.
