Life Channel Coaching Values

The Life Channel Coaching Approach

cropped-grapes1.jpegGuiding Principle: Jesus is the Vine, we are the branches.  He who remains connected to Jesus will produce much fruit.  Apart from Him, you can do nothing.  (John 15:5)

Values

  1. Christ Centered – Jesus is already speaking to you, through the Holy Spirit. My job is to draw out what He is saying and to help you put it into practice.
  2. Transformational– Jesus is the expert in transformation.  The end point is fruit, but life channel coaching helps leaders multiply branches to produce even more fruit.  Real transformation channels through the client and changes those they influence as well.
  3. Spirit-Sensitive– In every coaching conversation we listen to the Holy Spirit together to discern what He is saying, where He is leading, and how He is working. My responsibility as a Christian coach is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit’s work in the life of my clients. I cannot (and will not attempt to) assume the Spirit’s role in your life.
  4. Client-Focused– I seek to serve you. You set the agenda. It’s not about what I think or believe a client should do. Rather, I’m focused on helping you to discover how to move forward to attain your goals.
  5. Non-Directive– There is no set curriculum that the client needs to accomplish. I’m not the expert who is hired to tell someone what to do next.   I come alongside, actively listen, and ask powerful questions which give you greater clarity.
  6. “Being“ Oriented-. My approach includes working with clients to help them:
    1. increase their awareness of what’s happening within them,
    2. focus on their being and not just doing, and
    3. become healthy and effective leaders.
  7. Progressive– Life Channel Coaching will help you to identify the outcomes you desire and to make steady progress toward them.  In situations where greater clarity is needed, I will ask questions that generate focused direction.
